During the purchase i was told that if i wanted to sell they would buy it back and also that there was no way to cancel the contract after signing. I had to find out on my own that i had 10 days to cancel. by time i was able to mail a letter to cancel it was the 15 of april. the post office had closed. i mailed an additional letter on the 16th which is sunday so no post office was open. The company notified me i had missed the deadline to cancel. My questions is, is there statute that would extend the date of postmark to the following monday as sunday is not an option for post marking a letter. is there any legal recourse i can take as i was lead to believe by their sales team that i could not cancel the contract which made it that even though i immediately regretted my purchase i believed i had no recourse thus delaying my actions.
